Teri Paton joined Medallion in March 2014 as the part time in-house bookkeeper. Her responsibilities include the entire accounting cycle, invoicing, paying bills, payroll and financial reporting.
Ms. Paton's introduction to Alaska aviation came by way of volunteering for the Iditarod Air Force as a load coordinator, although prior to this she was an extraordinary checkpoint cook and all-around volunteer. While not an aviator, she loves to fly and has been told she is a "good passenger".
Teri has a BS in Business Administration from Colorado State University and in her pre-Alaska life held an active CPA license. Her career start in public accounting, providing audit and accounting services, helped her develop the skill set she can offer Medallion.
Having been an Alaska resident for 17 years, she held a variety of part time jobs and volunteer positions while raising two children, her full-time job. Now that the "nest is empty" Teri has returned to the workforce.
