ASAP Getting Started

ONLY MEDALLIOLN FOUNDATION  CLIENTS HOLDING AT LEAST ONE MEDALLION STAR ARE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICPATE IN MEDALLION'S ASAP PROGRAM.

The following steps provide an overview of how to get started in Medallion's ASAP.

  1. Attend an ASAP overview or review program with the ASAP Program Manager.  Also review the ASAP Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
  2. Send an email to the ASAP Program Manager at asap@medallionfoundation.org expressing your company's desire to enter into the program.  Indicate which employee group or groups will be participating.
  3. Designate your company representatives and appoint or elect employee representatives for each employee group.  Alternate members of each group are desirable.  These representatives will participate in the Event Review Committee (ERC).
  4. The ERC members will receive one day of training provided jointly by the Medallion Foundation and the FAA.
  5. Your company will then develop and deliver your own training for your participating employees.  This is normally an hour or two of training based on exceprts from the Medallion provided training.
  6. The Medallion ASAP Program Manager may observe at least one session of your company's ASAP training.
  7. User names and passwords for ASAP reporting will be provided by the Medallion ASAP Program Manager.
  8. After your employees have been trained, a Company executive with appropriate authority signs the last page of the MOU together with the FAA FSDO Manager from the local office.  A copy of this document must be provided to the Medallion Foundation.  This is the official start of the ASAP Program for your Company.
