Dan Wagner, CFI/DPE Program Manager
Dan Wagner was born and raised in Wisconsin, Dan came to Alaska in 1987 courtesy of the United States Air Force. After spending 21 years as an aircraft mechanic, master maintenance instructor, and flight chief, he retired to pursue several different aviation positions in the civilian world. He has held positions as an airframe and powerplant mechanic, flight instructor, flight engineer, bush pilot and airline pilot with experience in FAR Part 91, 135 and 121 operations. He joined the Medallion team in February of 2017 as the CFI/DPE Program Manager where he is responsible for the aviation training devices.
Dan has a Master’s Degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a PhD in Aviation and Space Management from Madison University. Additionally, he holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate for multi-engine land aircraft with commercial privileges for single engine land and sea aircraft, several type ratings as well as flight and ground instructor certificates.
