The Medallion Foundation's Aviation Training Devices and Simulators provide student pilots and certificated pilots the opportunity to practice scenario-based training, emergencies, off-airport operations and other flight operations BEFORE stepping into a cockpit.
All Medallion ATDs and Simulators support multiple screens and software to give you the best experience possible. Instructions on start-up, setting up weather and aircraft, and shut-down are available at each location.
Our ATDs are classified as B-ATDs, with software that includes X-Plane, MS Flight Simulator X (Deluxe Edition) and ELITE.
NOTE: You must hold at least a student pilot certificate to use a Medallion flight training device.
The only full motion Super Cub simulator available anywhere, it is usually located in Anchorage at our headquarters on Post Road. This four screen simulator operates Flight Sim X.
Located in a movable trailer, this device provides a unique experience for all users. A 110" screen provides for a full depiction outside of a helicopter cockpit. Two seat set-up and an instructor station behind the crew seating area allows for both VFR and IFR interactive training.
